Southsea Bathing Hut, the Portsmouth based makers of “natural skincare from the seaside” today proudly announced a new partnership. A selection of their products have been selected by Oxfam Great Britain to be sold as part of the prestigious Sourced By Oxfam GB range.
According to Oxfam, “The Sourced By Oxfam GB range is more than just beautiful gifts and delicious treats. This unique product range has been carefully selected by Oxfam’s team of buyers who search the world for pioneering suppliers who put people before profit, and produce quality products with the emphasis on small-scale production and sustainable materials.”
The charity is now selling Southsea Bathing Hut’s Blooming Bath & Shower Oils, Botanical Facial Steam, Vitamin Sea Balm and A Lovely Pot Of Coconuts via its online Sourced By Oxfam shop.
Samantha Worsey, founder and Director of Southsea Bathing Hut, says, “We are incredibly proud to be stocked by Oxfam, which is world-famous for supporting ethical business practices such as Fair Trade. They came to us because they wanted to offer their customers a selection of high quality, artisan skincare products, made in cruelty free ways using ethically and sustainably sourced ingredients.”
Samantha explains, “To be stocked by Oxfam we had to pass stringent checks on every aspect of our business practices. We are one of a small handful of businesses selected for the Health and Wellbeing category, which is a real honour.”
Following a successful and ongoing partnership with Montezuma Chocolates, Samantha notes that this opportunity will bring both her company and the name of her home to another new and diverse audience. “We are thrilled to fly the flag for Portsmouth with our Southsea branded products.”
As well as being one of the best known charitable organisations in Britain, Oxfam is a global movement of millions of people who share the belief that, in a world rich in resources, poverty is not inevitable. Oxfam’s work includes emergency relief, grassroots community development and campaigning to give a voice to the world’s poorest people.
