Samantha Worsey, the Founder and Director of Portsmouth-based start-up Southsea Bathing Hut, has been invited to speak at The Business Show at Excel, London.
The skincare entrepreneur will be featured in a presentation by Vistaprint about branding and design tips for small and medium enterprises. The well-known international provider of marketing services wants to spotlight Southsea Bathing Hut as an example of excellence.
Vistaprint say, “One of the key challenges for any small business owner is how to take a great business idea and create a professional looking, and memorable, branding identity.”
Samantha says, “I was delighted to be asked and am really looking forward to the show. Over two days, the event will attract around 25,000 business owners. Many of them will be starting up and seeking advice. I’ll be giving real-life examples of how we developed our unique brand, from the design of our logo to the way we communicate with customers in marketing materials.”
She adds, “When we are trading at shows, people often compliment us on our branding. They love the packaging designs, and the ‘feel’ of Southsea Bathing Hut. It’s wonderful to get feedback like that. I hope I can help to inspire some people setting out on the exciting journey of business.”
It has certainly been quite a journey for Southsea Bathing Hut. In early April, the company celebrated its first year of trading. Just weeks later, on 11th and 12th May, Samantha will share business tips on a stage that will also feature Dragons’ Den star and Founder of Pall-Ex Hilary Devey CBE, CEO of Tangle Teezer Matt Lumb and Lauren Pope, Founder of Hair Rehab London.
